Re: Con on the Cob 2016

Another good time at Con on the Cob!!! I will second Jeff's (amerigoV) comments, it felt very much like a gaming weekend with friends - big thumbs-up for the Savage room and its location this year. I ran two connected pulp related games and had great tables with several players that sat in on both. ...

Con on the Cob 2016

Looking forward to CotC again this year, even though Andy moved it and it collides with UCon! If I must choose - I choose the Cob. I've seen some of the usual crew's Savage events on the schedule. Who's going? Who's running what? What are the odds of an over-excited player falling in the pool? I'm r...

Re: Origins 2016 Thanks

Thanks for the kind words guys - I really appreciate it! Remember, it also takes a great group of players to make a great game. I was fortunate to have awesome players at all of my events this year! Sorry for the extremely belated reply, I changed jobs shortly after Origins this year and July/August...

[RR] Surgeon Edge

When using the Surgeon Edge to attempt to heal a permanent injury, is the Healing check made at a -4 like the Greater Healing Power? All Healing rolls are modified by wounds, but if a character with Surgeon is trying to heal a permanent injury on a character with no woulds they only need to roll a 4...

Rippers - New Rules Old Campaign

I'm starting up a Rippers campaign and am thinking about using the new Rippers Resurrected rules with the original Rippers plot point campaign. Any suggestions / thoughts / words of wisdom on if this is a good idea or any changes or tweaks that might make sense?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the sheet Mike, it was very helpful! Just submitted (I have not gotten confirmation and they have not been added to the website yet): League of Extraordinary People 80s [Friday 10/16 @ 20:00] Save the world from a threat so big it will take the combined might of the 80s action movie heroe...

Con On The Cob

Howdy! Last year at Con on the Cob the Ferris', Other Mike and myself talked about trying to coordinate our events so we could play in each others' games (to some degree at least). I saw Heather and Rich at Origins and we're all planning on going to CotC this year. I was talking with some of the oth...

Origins Support

Hello... Our club is running a number of Savage Worlds games at Origins this year. Do you still offer convention support, and who should I contact?

Thanks in advance!!!

Yep, I see a number of Savage events have been added... That's a good sign, but I agree with you - I would have expected some more earlier on. That being said I know I procrastinated so I won't throw stones. Both of my events are up now: 1114 - Lost Tribe of Samus 1169 - Frostbite Looking for...

I'd be very interested in seeing anything you would wish to share, I have built characters for Supers showdowns but always had difficulty making sure the characters are balanced. I'm probably overthinking it to some degree (I am an old Champions player, and that was always a concern)... Also, what a...

Re: dry erase counters?

Does anyone know where I can get some dry erase counters? I've seen them used before but not sure where to get them. Basically they are small round plastic counters that you can write on with a dry-erase marker. Thanks! Alea Tools have counters that are both magnetic and can be written on with a dr...

I always liked the way it was handled in Babylon 5. Rare and mostly weak, but mainstream enough to be able to drive major portions of the plot.
