Ya know, I neglected to mention this before, but what do you need a bestiary for?

You only need stats for one ordinary guy with innumerable rubber suits...

Re: Non-combat Edges/roles in SW

There's background and even some combat edges that can be useful for a PC without combat skills that will occasionally find themselves in combat encounters. Background edges; Alertness (avoiding foes getting the drop on them), Fleetfooted, Quick, Luck - even Brawn can be appropriate for a gentle gi...

Regarding ROF & ammo

Porkchop Express wrote: My players have started to acquire some high ROF weapons in our Ripper campaign, while discussing them we found the rules around Rate Of Fire to be unclear and need some help. Re: Another Centaur > need feedback

Something like Sweep comes to mind, where he spins around in place using his bulk to attack everyone near him. But playtest this guy. I'll bet that just one turn of a bunch of attackers, especially at +6, will kill him. For a normal guy, the max is +4 and only so many can get adjacent to him. SteveN

Re: Non-combat Edges/roles in SW

Hmmm, not familiar with the setting. Medical knowledge is always useful to a party of adventurers. You need to think of areas the PCs are going to want to investigate. What's the world like? If you were on Blue Planet, Marine Biology would be useful, for example. Biochemistry would be nice if you we...

Re: Another Centaur > need feedback

edit: Alternatively, the Gang-Up bonus could probably stay at +1 per additional opponent (for simplicity and consistency) but max out at +6, instead of +4. So Gang Up scales the same as with any other character, but caps out at 7 opponents instead of 5. I think I like that one better. While this ma...

Are you going to run a Kickstarter when you're finally ready to publish?

Yeah, I'm kinda worried, too.
I hope nothing's happened to them, hopefully just their day jobs took precedence.

I've been wanting to ask some questions, but I've waited as there's been no Marchland activity.

Re: Stealth Modifiers are kinda funny...

Well, in this case, game playability and balance kinda trump reality. You could just do what sounds logical, just be consistent. For instance, say you were an archer, in the dark, firing at a target holding a torch some 50 yards away. He might not be able to see you, but other than standard range pe...

Re: [Sundered Skies] Flying Wildlings?

Yes, flight can give you a huge advantage, if you are anywhere within sight of a landmass. A pretty rare occurrence in Sundered Skies. At best, you would need some kind of navigational aid, only carried aboard ships and operated by a navigator. You can glide, slowing your descent, for as long as you...

Well, "bird" is a relative term. Just say winged or flying instead.
