Yeah, for the core rules it would pretty much be the equivalent of a "foot chase" for a flying creature as it isn't using an other form of conveyance other than it's natural abilities.

Speed basically makes running a free action with maxed out Pace for the first level (2x Pace is a 6 Pace with a maxed d6 Running die).
