[SR] Selling Loot to Castle Refuge

#1 Postby Kaandorian » Mon Jan 09, 2017 11:09 am

Any idea of the prices the PCs can get selling their loot to the Legion itself?
I was thinking a quite low price, given that it's an always available option. Maybe 50% for non-damaged stuff? 25% for damaged equipment?

Aaaaaand... by the way... in the first installment of "A Fine Solution", my players managed to capture the Mark V APC without even a scratch on it. Coalition Field Manual says its base price is 21 millions...
Yeah, I find it quite disturbing

I was thinking the Legion should confiscate it and then award the PCs a rank upgrade (from Legionnaires to Specialists 2nd Class) and then a Special Success Bonus... maybe 15k credits?

What do you think?

Honestly, I put salvage at 10%, half that if it's Serious or Severe damage.

OTOH, I also suggest that Castle Refuge should be providing the PCs with discounted repairs and reasonable free ammunition.

The book doesn't have a value for salvage? That's odd. Considering that's one way players make cash money, you'd think it was in there.

Since the PCs are assumed to be part of the Legion, I don't think they would get that much for it, turning in salvage would be part of the job, as it were. I can see a 10-15% "finders fee" for larger or more valuable items (intact CS equipment, functioning Glitter Boy, and such).
